2 Different Losses 1 Broken Heart

Mel has an immune disorder called Lupus. immune diseases are a set of illnesses in which the immune system attacks healthy cells. Lupus effects 1 in every 2,000 Canadians. The disorder is also knows as the disease of a thousand faces because get this not one diagnosis of lupus is identical to another. Kind of like a snowflake but this means as of right now Since there is no known cause of lupus, that also means there's no way to stop it or predict its course. Instead, doctors must treat lupus symptomatically, and try to relieve pain and discomfort. With her flare ups she unfortunately have to go through symptoms like a butterfly rash on her face, chronic muscle pain, low blood platelets, swollen /fluid accumulation in joints ect. Coco was adopted last year for mel as a service dog Because with lupus depression and anxiety are MAJOR side effects of the condition and mom really wasn’t doing well for a while. We lost our beloved coco to cancer in August of this year . He was a 13 year old sharpei American bulldog mix. Coco meant more then anyone knows He was the sweetest most well behaved gentleman of a dog I has ever met in my life. He went on a  3 week road trip to Bnaff, Alberta which is something Mel had wanted to do since She was 9. this dog has brought me home in a severe thunderstorm after I got us lost. He used to put himself in between me and my abusive ex to protect me during escalated situations. He’s save my ass more then once and I just wish I got to know him sooner in life. Fly high big man we love and miss you everyday.  Before coco crossed the rainbow we had put a deposit down on a pup that we feel in love with. There was a verbal agreement in place and we thought that we would be allowed to do a payment plan on her. I had missed a payment due to coco being sick and vet bills piling up I told the breeder and they said it was fine and they understand, Now the breeder has changed their mind for one reason or another and now that I can’t afford her they are asking $700 more then she was originally priced for.
We had claims on her named her at not even a month old ,drove 3.5 hours to meet her and then another 3.5 hours home,bought her a crate, and had custom things with her name on it.  We’re looking for a little help from the bully community to help pay off  some of the vet bills from coco and to help us get back on track. Mel hasn’t been the same since losing coco now losing this pup she’s devastated. If you can help in anyway it’s much appreciated!!
