Two kids and an Empty Christmas Tree

I received the most  heartbreaking call from a kind , sweet, upstanding, very hardworking, humble,  friend of mine. She was devastated, stressed, crying, and completely heartbroken that her financial situation went from bad to worse literally in a matter of hours , she is a single mother and was relying on the word she was given from someone significant in her life that Christmas gifts for her two children and her household bills would be taken care of but unfortunately she got the guarantee that it’s not going to happen! She has ZERO  money for gifts for her two children..ZERO money for her bills and is praying and that her boss advances her the money for her rent that is already late ..she had to tell her son (13) and daughter (16) today that she won’t be able to get them any gifts at all for Christmas. The children both humbly told her with kind hearts and kind smiles  that it was ok and that they understand!  THIS ABSOLUTELY BREAKS  MY HEART! Considering I just started a new job, unfortunately I am not able to help her much! This is the first time I’ve ever made a go fund me in my entire life and hopefully It will make it possible for these two children to wake up to ATLEAST something on Christmas Day ..even just a few gifts under their tree would be a million times better than no gifts at all !
