Laney Needs Surgery!

Young Laney was found with three of her kittens in June 2019 by a cat rescuer. She was presumably dumped by her family when pregnant. She and the kittens were fixed and vaccinated. Lucky You agreed to take them all in and her kittens found homes quickly. Laney did too, on three occasions, but had issues with peeing out of the box, trying to get out of the house, and crying by doors and windows. After she was returned a second time, her fourth kitten was found and she seemed so happy to be reunited. We believed that she needed a cat friend as she checked out medically. Her third adoptive home had another cat, and still she had Laney is now back in foster care with Lucky You. Our vet has decided to do an exploratory surgery to determine if she perhaps still has some “lady parts” and had been going into heat. While it is not common, we have seen this happen before and the similarities are strong enough not to ignore. Laney is scheduled for her procedure on Friday at the Bridge Clinic. This is a costly procedure and without the ability to do our in-person fundraisers (like Bag Bingo and a Brewery event) we need to attempt to raise funding online. Laney is not even two years old and she’s already had at least four homes and two foster homes (plus she has lived in both of our stores). She is the SWEETEST cat, very affectionate, and chatty. She loves to sit on your lap and get petted. Please help us solve Laney’s issues so we can get her into her forever home!
