Sadaqah Jariyah - Help Build a Well

I hope your all doing well and are in the best of health and eemaan In Shā’ Allāh.
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ - Innā lillāhi wa innā ilaihi rāji’ūn
“Verily, we belong to Allāh and unto Him we are returning.”
My beloved father (رحمه الله) passed away and returned back to his Lord (الله) on Friday the 24th April 2020 (1 Ramadan 1441H).
Prior to my father's death, he was not feeling well and was admitted into the hospital on the 5th of April 2020 for approximately 3 weeks. A few days later he was tested for COVID-19 and results came back positive. During his stay at the hospital, he was put on a ventilator machine as he was having difficulty breathing on his own. My father was recovering alhamdulillah by the tawfeeq of Allah but at a slow progression as he had other underlining health issues.
But on Thursday the 23rd of April 2020 his health deteriorated quickly and things took a turn for the worse. Sadly on Yammul Jumu'ah, my father passed away due to COVID-19 in the hospital during the afternoon. This was a complete shock to myself, my family, and the whole community we were completely heartbroken.
Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) said:
“Say to them: Verily, the death from which you flee will surely meet you, then you will be sent back to Allah, the Knower of the unseen and the seen, and He will tell you what you used to do.”
Surah Al-Jumu‘ah 62:8
My father was a kind, loving, gentle, caring individual who will be truly missed by his family and those who knew him well. He leaves behind a wife, 3 siblings, 5 children, grandchildren, and family who loved him.
"The eyes are shedding tears and the heart is grieved, and we will not say except what pleases our Lord."
Sahih Al-Bukhari 1303 (Book 23, Hadith 62) Translated: Muhsin Khan
May Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) have mercy upon my beloved father, forgive his sins, ease his affairs in the grave, and grant him one of the highest ranks in Jannatal-Firdaus.

I have created this go fund me page in order to build a water well and water pump in my father's name as a form of sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity). The money raised with your aid will help to transform the lives of a whole community in a particularly poor region around the world by providing them with clean and safe water to drink.
Cost:
- 1 x Digging Water Well - £1000
Note: Community water wells can serve more than 1,000 people
- 2 x Hand Water Pump - £500
As part of this go fund me appeal, I am also looking to build two extra hand water pumps (£500) in my grandparent's name who also sadly passed away and returned back to their Lord (الله) in February 2018.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.”

Grade: Hasan (fair) according to Al-Albani

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.”

Aboo Hurairah (radhiyallaahu ‘anhu) who said that the Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said:
"Charity never decreased anything from wealth."

If you are unable to donate to this cause due to whatever circumstance it is understandable due to the current climax and situation. Please help by continuing to share this page with your family, friends, and loved ones. So that on yammul qiyamah you will be rewarded for your efforts and intentions.

- Any extra funds raised above the initial target for my beloved father will be used in the correct manner (Other Sadaqah Jariyah projects).
- Evidence and proof will be provided to whoever wishes to see where the funds have been used once the Sadaqah Jariyah projects have been completed In Shā’ Allāh.
Please remember my beloved father, grandparents, and all those who have lost loved ones during this current tribulation in your dua's. May Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) have mercy upon the deceased and grant them all Jannahtul-Firdaus.
We ask Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) to grant all those families who have lost loved one's patience during this blessed month of Ramadan and to remove this trial which has befallen the ummah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). And we pray that our intentions are kept pure and that Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) accepts on our behalf this Sadaqah Jariyah for the deceased.
