Miguel is finally coming home!! We are so excited and happy, to be together again. I can't thank you enough for all of the support we have received from all of family our aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, our family friends, and even to anonymous. It bring me to tears to see how my brothers that are our inspiration and strength brought so many together.
Many thanks and blessings to you all.

Today, with the heaviest of heart, I am writing this on behalf of everyone who have had the Opportunity to know Diego. Diego's time has come to go be with the lord and he has left his brother Miguel, his best friend, the one that understood him the best, to continue life without him.
Diego has always been there for Miguel, since Miguel's first day of life. Diego was so exited to have a baby brother, he always protected him, they have been inseparable.
It's been extremely hard on Miguel since Diego's passing.
We really need to have him closer to be with family for emotional support and company , before Diego's passing there plan was to come back home to California to live out the rest of there life's with family and friends, Diego expressed to Miguel days before he got sick that he's ultimate wish was to live out there dream, for at least one of them to come back to California.
Miguel feels in heart that Diego stopped his battle to fulfill there ultimate dream

Here we are again asking with our humbled hearts for some assistance. We are getting closer in reaching our goal for air ambulance for Miguel to come from Iowa to California

No matter what you donate, be $1 or $5 it will be appreciated and very helpful.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and god bless

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers."
(Psalm 1:3, NASB)

Diego and Miguel both diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at age 9 and 7. In the beginning of life all was great, both walked and ran all over the place, as time passed both began to loose strength in their muscles, unable to run or go upstairs, weakening their little legs, dependent of a wheelchair when they would get tired to continue getting around. That did not stop them they always found a way to keep going.

As time passed the condition progress they became dependent of a wheelchair, and oxygen. In these past years both Diego and Miguel got sick with pneumonia and were hospitalized for about 3 months, their lungs became weak that they required a tracheostomy and dependent of a ventilator to breath.

Once they were stable to go home Doctors decided it would be best to place both in an acute nursing home unfortunately there were no nursing home that can provide the service and care they both needed in their home town of Sioux City, Iowa, the only choice given was over 100 miles across town to Waterloo, Iowa. Another factor was my mother’s advanced age, her medical condition she was not able to provide the care they both needed at home.

My mother gathered a few items and moved to Waterloo, Iowa to be close to my brothers. It's been very difficult for her, physically, emotionally and financially. We would love to be together to be able to support her and help her . Due to my brothers' condition, they must be flown by private air ambulance, unable to drive such a long distance with a ventilator.

Whether it be their smile, kind hearts, or young spirit, my brothers infect the hearts of anyone and everyone that comes in contact with them.

I've been thinking long and hard for words to express my gratitude for any support you may have to offer. If you are able to contribute absolutely anything, whether it is words of encouragement, it would be an enormous help towards Diego's and Miguel's journey.

100% of the donations received will go directly to pay air transport ambulance. Let's all come together and help our brothers. Every little bit counts. Your help means more than we can express. Thank you! It's going to be amazing to get them HOME!!!
