I’m Hassan Thomas - a class of ’20 graduating senior from Maryville College (TN). As a student-athlete, I immersed myself in many opportunities that allowed me to interact with people and inspire their individual paths. My passion has always been to help empower people.
Now shifting gears and stepping into the “real” world, my desire to do more and reach more people has not only deepened but ignited into a movement created to transform lives and create generational wealth. Financial literacy, or the lack of it, is a serious problem for Millennials and Generation Z’ers. Through my company’s new APP, we teach users about money and finances—how to create, flow, grow, and invest. We are excited about creating this avenue for college students and young professionals to have healthy relationships with money. For most of our users, this is the beginning of breaking the cycle of generational poverty, and for everyone, it’s the key to being empowered and living their best life!
My goal is to raise funds to support the development of the APP to ensure optimal functionality and sustainability. Additionally, a website, podcast, social network, and other media-driven platforms will be established to support FYI FLI.
