On February 22-23 and March 2-3 we are hosting a Brown Girls Collective and Brown Men Collective for our Deaf People of Color of all abilities, spiritualities, and orientations.
These are two very important events for our DPOC; it is not often that DPOC can get up and just go to any Brown Folks retreat. We truly need to provide communication accessibility by providing American Sign Language interpreters. Interpreters are what make such events failures or successes. Many community-based organizations and events cannot afford $50/hour interpreters. No one should be denied an access to communication.
We ask you give us an opportunity to make our communities accessible for each other.
