Thank you For Feeding Our First Responders From Glen Ellyn Restaurants

New Funds to go to The Summer Snack Pack Program led by the Kiwanis to feed at risk Glen Ellyn Children 

Together Glen Ellyn Cares and the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all for the financial support in Feeding First Responders through funding our Glen Ellyn Restaurants. Together we funneled over $12,000 through the GoFundMe page and private donations in much needed sales to our local restaurants. We accomplished this all while feeding The Glen Ellyn Police, Fire, Public Works and Waste Water Authority, in addition to, weekly meals to Northwestern and Amita Hospitals for the past two months.

Now with funds depleting, we have decided to give the remaining balance to The Glen Ellyn Summer Snack Pack Program which feeds 300 at risk Glen Ellyn children weekly. These packs are distributed to School Districts 41 and 89, The Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center and The Glen Ellyn Public Library. This program is organized by the Glen Ellyn Kiwanis with partnership with The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.
