The Dalmadge Family Fund

Donation protected

As many of you know, Eva, the wife of our friend and colleague Chuck Dalmadge, recently lost her nine-year battle with breast cancer.

Eva was a nurturing, caring wife and mother, especially when it came to her 5-year old granddaughter Nicole. Together, they would go to the park, the zoo, the Cracker Barrel (Nicole's favorite restaurant), the mall "“ enjoying their time together. Chuck and Eva were raising Nicole, having gained legal custody of her at the age of two. Nicole has experienced medical issues throughout her young life, having her most recent surgery this past November. Now Chuck will be raising Nicole on his own.

Wise beyond her years, Nicole consoled Chuck after Eva's death saying, "Mommy's spirit is in our hearts "“ it's okay to cry daddy." She excels in preschool and is thriving, and has told Chuck that when she grows up she wants to become a doctor. To do that, Nicole will need many years of schooling.

One of the things we do best at Western Union and in our communities is help people. That's why we are asking for your support.  Please make a donation on this site to help pay for Nicole's future education and potential medical bills.  It's our chance to really show Chuck, Nicole and their family the true meaning of "moving money for better."

Please feel free to pass this website along to anyone you think may be interested in helping out with Nicole's future expenses.
