The Tri- cities Mutual Aid fund was created in partnership with concerned and compassionate community members and a growing list of non-profits across Eastern WA. Along with guidance and support from the Walla Walla Mutual Aid Network, Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network, Central Washington Justice for our Neighbors. Because we refuse to let our Eastern Washington friends, family and neighbors face this pandemic alone. On March 27th the Washington Dream Coalition in partnership with WAISN and other latinx serving organizations released both an application for financial relief and a go fund me to raise funds for undocumented in people in WA state. The coalition received over 600+ applications for relief within the first 24hrs! Recent data from this coalition revealed over 120 applications for relief in Benton and Franklin Counties, totaling a need of over one hundred thousand dollars in these two counties alone!

“Human beings shouldn’t have to choose between risking exposure to the COVID-19 virus or losing their shelter and access to food (WAISN).”

We are currently seeking out people and donors who are interested in lending a helping hand to our undocumented and non-citizen siblings whose families and livelihoods are in danger due to both state and federal negligence. Through volunteers, our partner organizations and your support, the Tri-Cities mutual aid network will provide the following to our non–citizen community members:

- Verifying local resources that are available through local organizations regardless of immigration status.
- Resource sharing from reliable sources in languages other than English.

Join us today, to ensure we are able to collectively reach our goal of $150,000 to support over 150 families. 100% of donations will go directly to families in need here in Benton and Franklin Counties through first come first serve assistance with purchasing grocery/food with delivery option available depending on volunteer availability. As well as rent/income relief as long as funding is available. We have currently listed $10,000 as our first goal to reach!

Other groups we are dedicated to helping with this mutual aid fund is those who are: homeless, quarantined without pay, sick, disabled, elderly (60 yrs+), queer, or people of color who are not being provided any or enough financial assistance from the stimulus package or government programs.

Tri-City Immigrant Coalition (TCIC) is our fiscal non-profit sponsor.
