I’m Tricia Hardy, Ernest Hardy’s daughter. My dad was a caring, strong and hard working man. He worked hard for his family even in retirement he was always outside doing something to better the place him and my mom lived. He was a good man. He was a great dad to me. He was so funny, always cracking some kind of joke or poking fun at someone. Anyone who knew him loved him. He left us kids, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and we all miss him dearly.               Ernest Adelard Hardy Jr            Sep 27, 1945 - Mar 19, 2020    Ernest Adelard Hardy Jr 74, of Guthrie, Oklahoma was born in East Derry, New Hampshire to the late Ernest Hardy Sr and the late Barbara Hardy (Brown).     Ernie was a silly, loving, kind man. He was a great dad and grandpa, always had an ear and kind wise words to ease any situation we were in. He always had logic in his words and knew just what to say to make us feel better.    Music was his passion. He was an amazing singer and songwriter and had the privilege of singing with many big names like Marty Robbins, Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, among many more. In life he was his daughter Tricia’s hero, now in death he is our guardian angel.     He left the woman he chased throughout his life Patricia Hardy, sister Linda Stroud, sons John Blackburn, Michael Hardy, and daughters Tricia Hardy, Deborah Blackburn, Kristey Jensen, grandchildren Chance Hardy, Charles Rogers, Ashley Hardy, Shaynah Blackburn, Charlotte Gaither, Carina Gaither, great grandchildren Aliyah Morales, Gisselle Morales, plus many more grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. We will all miss him dearly and wholeheartedly.    He was preceded in death by both his parents, and his son, Michael Blackburn. Funeral Services will be ‪Saturday, March 28th between 1 PM and 3 PM‬ at Corbett Funeral and Cremation ‪807 W Wilshire Blvd‬ Oklahoma City, OK 73116     “Don’t worry about the things you cannot change. If you can change it, change it for the better & if you can’t do anything about it, don’t worry about it.”  Ernest Hardy Dad passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest in the evening of Thursday March 19th. There is no life insurance, nothing to help with numerous bills that were left to pay. My mom lives on disability and needs help with bills. She’s lost 2/3 of her income and was barely making it before with his income. If you can find it in your heart to donate to help me take care of my dad and help my mom with the left over bills it would be greatly appreciated. Anything you could spare during this time will help.
