Little Kings Shuffle Club: site of so many post-work drinks, first dates, meet-ups with colleagues, drag shows, punk bands giving their all- sloppy or not, community rallies, hollerings of "zap!", photos on the boat, innumerable howdies with friends, weddings & wedding receptions, escapes from the "Khaki Line", an assured Pete anecdote, the best dance parties with DJ Mahogany that leave you with a bit of a ~feeling~ the next day, and a genuinely comforting home base for your social and libation needs. Sadly, the cast of characters who make this establishment what it is were hit with the unexpected reality of being without a job in the wake of COVID-19 containment efforts as of March 19th. Mandatory closure of non-essential businesses- as much as we feel Little Kings is essential- means our doors are shuttered for the coming weeks. This crisis is uncharted territory for most of us, and we are taking things day by day. While we try to remain positive, the harsh reality that we are out of work in an industry that relies on the presence and monetary contributions of our patrons makes this situation all that more daunting. It is with the most humble of hearts that we ask you to help support our staff through these trying times. Any amount you are able to contribute will help keep our staff financially afloat until we are able to open our doors once more. We are hopeful that this situation is contained promptly, and that we can all return to our regular routine as soon as possible. In the interim, we appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing your familiar faces when this has all passed.
