Love for the Chris Bloom Family

Chris Bloom suffered a severe stroke Thursday morning, January 24. Chris began feeling bad at work, so his wife Lora took Chris to the ER at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama. The stroke occurred at the hospital. That same day he was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to have extensive surgeries, which involved the removal of his cerebellum. Chris is 38 years old. He is married to Lora, and together they have two cute little daughters that cannot visit him in his condition. Lora and her family are living on couches, 200 miles away from family and friends that are able to take care of them.
My wife and I are close friends with the Blooms. They were in my Bible study class at Concord Baptist Church in Calera for many years. Chris and I went through Liberty University together. We've gone different directions in pursuit of different callings, but we have remained fast friends. I have set this donation page up as a way to minister to the family since they need lodging and food as well as other things. I give my word that every dollar donated will be made available to Chris and Lora, to be used at their sole discretion.
