Our Challenging 2013

Hello friends and family. This is really hard for us ask of anyone but reality is really setting in now. 2013 was supposed to be a huge and exciting year for us. We had planned and saved and have worked very hard to make Lady Penelope's arrival a financially smooth one. We were in a very good position to make that happen but as you all know know my cancer diagnosis had really thrown a wrench in the gears. We have been able to handle the first wave of medical bills but with my uncertainty of returning to work due to my chemotherapy and disability not lasting forever we are getting seriously worried about what is going to happen when our savings run out!
It has been suggested by numerous people that we get on some site like this to get whatever help we can get. We talked about it for a while and came to a conclusion that we have to swallow our pride and do it.
The goal I put on here really means nothing. I know we don't need a million dollars but I also know the co pays and deductibles are going to hurt! That being said anything will help and we appreciate all the support and love we have already received from everyone!
