Please Help a Family in Distress

AN ANGEL IN DISTRESS! PLEASE HELP

A good friend of mine whom I care about deeply received that call that all mother fear most. Her name is Candy and she is nurse, if you really think about what nurses do, they care for other people who are sick or have physical or mental problems. I called her an angel because I think that is what angels do.

Several weeks ago while at work she got a call stating that there was an attempted home invasion it her home that was interrupted by her young son. Now if you google (attempted home invasion interrupted) more often than not, it is followed by fatal shooting. So her heart sunk before the officer could finish his statement, he said a male subject with a shotgun was attempting to burglarize her home and her son interrupted him and was shot. Her son confronted the suspect and in an attempt to get away the intruder discharged one round at point blank range into the top of her son's foot.

It was a shotgun at point blank range, which means he put that gun on that kid's foot and pulled the trigger. It blew a hole the size of an orange all the way through that child's foot. A hole so big you could see through it, blew out all the bones, muscles, tendons, joints, joint capsules, and ligaments. To save his foot required three surgeries in 6 days, the last surgery was a nine hour ordeal taking a muscle graph from his thigh and placing it in his foot, along with a skin graph from the same leg.

This has been a huge nightmare placed on this godly family, Candy has not worked in the last two months. Access to help in this type of situation is the most difficult and scary maze known to man or woman. Medical bills are coming in daily, six surgeries down and at best 4 or 5 more to go, including bone graphs.

The daily expense and care of her son is wearing the wings off this ANGEL. God please help my friend Candy and her son Ken in any way you can, even if it's pocket change.
