A Young Mother Of 3 Fighting For Her Life

For many years my sister Emily(age 25) has struggled with severe headaches but has never gotten any answers as to what is causing these headaches. Recently the headaches became more serve, she attended several doctors appointments but still no answer. Her doctor then referred her to an eye doctor who then referred her to several other eye doctors. On January 30th the vision specialist found what appeared to be spinal fluid on her brain, she was to go directly to the emergency room where they ran multiple tests and did a spinal tap and sent her home. On February 4th she followed up with the eye doctor but still nothing seemed to be getting better so she was sent back to the emergency room where they ran more tests as well as another spinal tap and still no answers so at that point she got admitted to Covenant hospital. On the night of January 5th she was transferred from Covenant hospital to Henry Ford hospital in Detroit, MI. On February 7th The neurologist decided they would put a stent put in her brain but that’s when all of the unexpected happened, after doctors had finished putting the stent in her brain, she was not acting normal so they did a scan on her brain and discovered excessive bleeding due to her having a narrow vein where the stent was put in at. She was rushed back for emergency surgery where she is now in critical condition on life support. We have no predictions or answers, we are told that all we can do right now is wait. If everything goes well she will be in the hospital for several months of recovery. Our mother is in the hospital with her and is not leaving until her fight is over! We are praying for your support during this unexpected time in our life as it is becoming more costly each day for our mother to stay there by her side. We appreciate all of your support.
