Pay Medical Bills, No Income, Future MSc

I am a young man, 26, who graduated from Ohio State University with Honors in Biochemistry, my goal at that time to was to work on anti-cancer drugs to help people, especially since my father almost died from cancer. I did spend a lot of time volunteering in programs to help teach kids science, tutoring for free, and also performed research. I paid for college with financial aid through the government and by working hard in research labs, working to get good grades and applying to scholarships since I come from a low-income family and wanted to pay for as much myself. I then spent over a year doing Medicinal Chemistry at OSU but wasn't satisfied as my real passion has always been computers and electronics but there is a big difference in learning the material and using it, I never got tired fixing computers but did in lab.
So I moved back home to Cleveland and was looking at getting my Masters in Comp Sci, which would require more preparatory classes and more money that I didn't have. So during the drive while on a job interview to a pharmaceutical company in order to save money for my Masters I ended up in an accident. The crash knocked me out and ended up breaking both my ankles, left tibial plateau fracture (knee), dislocated my shoulder while fracturing a part of the humeral head along with a broken rib and fractures on the left L1-L4 transverse processes in my back. I had to have a 9 hour surgery on my initial ankle injuries and then a few weeks later a 4 hour knee surgery. I was bed bound for a few months. The accident happened July 27 and I was unable to even get lifted into a wheel chair until early October, stood for the first time on November 28. During this whole time I was confined to a nursing home.
This was the worst time to get into a car accident since I did not have any health insurance. I no longer had insurance from University and I had no insurance from a job, my car was also totaled and I only had bare minimum coverage so lost my car. I have around $300,000 in medical bills due to the surgery, hospital stay, medication, nursing home, and therapy, ambulance rides, etc. It has been very hard getting my bills paid and I am late on all of them due to to problems I've been having with Medicaid. I am Medicaid pending but first need to be considered disabled by Social Security, to make things worse my cases were not started on time from the social workers "helping" me and my Medicaid application was denied because I had a doctors appointment the same time as that appointment and despite calling her several times before and after the doctors appointment leaving messages she said I never contacted her and canceled, which set me months back.
If I get the Medicaid the majority of bills will be covered, if I don't I'm not sure what my other options would be. The money I'm currently asking for is the bills that Medicaid would not cover such as some of the private ambulance rides, new railings in the house, the cost of transporting me to and from the doctor, and most importantly the financial strain I am putting on both my mother and father who can barely survive as is and to be honest, enough money so I can buy a computer that is powerful enough for me to do and learn everything I need, I am taking free online classes and reading free material but some of the programs are too powerful for my netbook.

Thank you, I worked hard all my life in high school, took semesters without lunch to take AP classes, summer courses to fit in other classes, and even have a vocational degree which required 2 years of high school, 3 periods each day. I graduated from college with both Honors and Cum Laud with the hopes of going to graduate school and work on cancer research. I no longer had time to work on computers, I tried my hardest with drug design programs (molecular docking) but it wasn't the same, I never got tired working with computers and knew it was my true calling, and with my background I hope to design programs that can better predict drugs used in cancer and how to make them better, such as Schrödinger Suite.
I used to work out physically, started running barefoot which relieved the pain in my neck from a previous car accident. I am hoping to one day be able to run and lift weights again, which means a lot of therapy now.
I don't see how I'm going to accomplish anything, have time to help others, when I'm too busy trying to help myself.
