Eryn’s Gallbladder Removal Surgery
Donation protected
Roughly three months ago, I started getting sharp pain in the abdomen once every few weeks, but thought nothing of it.. as time went by, the sharp pains started getting worse and worse, and more frequent and frequent, and lasting longer and longer. Fast forward to December 13th, and I’m woken up at 4 in the morning not able to keep anything in my stomach, and feeling some of the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt. This attack landed me in the emergency room (almost
Via ambulance), where we found out I need to have my gallbladder taken out ASAP, and were pretty much told they were contemplating removing it there in the ER. So, appointments with surgeons are made, surgery gets scheduled for January 20th. I then receive a phone call from my surgeons office that they will not move forward with doing my surgery unless they receive a FULL payment of $850.00 by January 16th (less than a week). I’m typically very stubborn, and absolutely despise asking for help, but I need this surgery, and am at a loss for what else to do. The American health care system has failed me, and any little bit of help is thoroughly appreciated. Thank you for reading my little story.
