Throw in a $20 for emergency food relief

No doubt you are absolutely devastated, distressed and saddened by the ongoing bushfire crisis playing out before our eyes on TV, radio and social media. We all want to contribute and help in a practical and useful way. When we hear and see the devastation these fires have had on our native animals, our hearts just drop and our eyes well up with tears. Our campaign is seeking you to “throw in a $20” to buy a 20kg bag of Kangaroo food that will be distributed to volunteers on the ground in the fire affected areas of New South Wales. This will stop a kangaroo from starving to death for up to 30 days! Your generosity will save many lives! We have negotiated with the manufacturer of the food, Laucke Mills in South Australia to buy bulk pallet loads of feed at a heavily reduced price. They have kindly donated transport from their manufacturing plant in South Australia to Sydney. Now we just need to fill up that truck urgently and get it on the road. It is critical to get as much food out there on the ground as soon as possible to stop kangaroos, wallabies and wombats starving to death. We will receive the bulk pallets into our Sydney warehouse and break down into smaller lots and then through the Animal Rescue Collective (ARC) immediately get the feed to our hungry friends through their network of dedicated, selfless volunteers. The goal is to get a semi-trailer with as many pallets here in Sydney next week for immediate distribution throughout NSW by the many willing volunteers. No profiteering, no middle men, no handling fees- every dollar received will be converted into feed for our starving kangaroos, wallabies and wombats. Everyone involved are volunteers just wanting to make a practical difference to saving these precious Australian animals- they’ve been through enough trauma already and deserve our whole hearted help!
