Rebuilding animal homes , Feed And Water Stations

This fund has been created for the re building of our animal habitats that have been destroyed by the devastating fires . We are a group of trades , handy people and volunteers with great love for our animal , our environment and our community.. Volunteering our time to build whatever is needed whether it be animal boxes , water stations or emergency housing . Although we are donating our time materials and supplies will be needed .. All our work to date and ongoing work is posted on our group page where you can see where donations are going .. It is time to withdraw the funds and as we wanted to be transparent with where the money will be going.
The money will be withdrawn into a separate personal account under my name Penny Petridis ING as I wanted to keep it seperate from my Female Tradie Business account.
The money will be used to pay the for the material and supplies needed to produce possum and kookaburra boxes and also water stations for the animals struggling in the fire. Produce 600 animal Boxes , 200 water stations to date and a further 100 water stations this week
The money will also be used for materials to build animal enclosures in the areas affected. Volunteers will be teamed up and travel to site to construct homes for the animals and build any other structures needed by animal cares. The money will cover any additional materials and will also be used to accommodate and feed volunteers in the rural areas. Fuel cards will also be purchased for volunteers if needed.
We will also be donated $1,000.00 to Alison and Richard from Cooma where we have spent the last weekend building enclosures for the animals who are currently rebuilding the wombat and goals sanctuary. I have seen first hand there amazing efforts and dedication to saving the animals and it only feels right we support their efforts and help keep the feeding of the animals and the caring of them. Bare in mind they have are and have been living within kms of the fire for weeks with threats every day.
As we have also been so overwhelmed with the response to what we wanted to achieve by Lending A Hand Making a Difference .. We are looking into making this project ongoing . Connie from Alessi Design and Myself have no doubt that our help will be needed for many years to come. It is going to take a long time to help our animals rebuild their habitats and environments and using our building and management skills we are looking into setting up a Non for profit Company so we be able to unite and achieve amazing things as we have been doing.
