Help Nanci kick Lung Cancer's BUTT!

The day after Christmas my Mom was admitted to the Hospital with Pneumonia. The next 10 days would turn her world upside down, again. While at the Hospital they started running a multitude of tests due to her history of Breast Cancer. After the Biopsy was complete we were given the diagnosis of Small Cell and Non Small Cell Lung Cancer. The Cancer is so aggressive that it is putting pressure on her aorta and esophagus due to the size of the tumor. Although the larger tumor is on her left lung, there is also a smaller tumor on her right lung. The Doctors immediately started Chemo while she was in the hospital. She has since been released and is resting at home. She is still very weak and my father is taking care of her. Mom was put on a regimen of 3 days of Chemo with 3 weeks off for a total of 5 series of Chemo. In addition, in February she will start Radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks.
Unfortunately, the medical costs are causing a financial burden for our parents. Dad has had to reduce his hours to care for Mom and possibly close his business. Between the hospital stay and the co-pays for the Chemo and Radiation any donation you could make would go directly to pay the mounting medical bills. If you can, please help this truly amazing Mother and Mimi through a very tough time.
