Legal Costs To Stop My Mothers Deportation

Friends, family , strangers , I'm reaching out to the community today in Hopes of getting support for a nasty situation we find ourselves in. I am never the person to find myself asking for this sort of help but as they say, desperate times call for desperate measures and we are beyond desperate at this point. Here's the story.... Our mother was taken from us by immigration officers on December 27 2019 due to a removal order that stemmed from her missing a court date back in 2009. The reason she missed this court was because she was in the hospital at the time and we have documents proving her visit, but our biggest hurdles right now are on the financial end to afford legal representation. Due to her prior order of removal, ICE had told my mother that if she doesn't do anything within 2 weeks she will be removed from the states. It has already been one week. On top of that short weeks due to the holidays. She has been here in the states for 28 years. My mother is a good human being with a heart of gold and cares so much about her family and people around her. She is the one that taught me how to be who I am today. She does not deserve to be in the position she is in and we are seeking the help of our families, friends, and anyone else willing to extend a helping hand.
