Fencing needed to protect private shelter cats

Space Coast Feline Network's private feral/feline leukrmia cat shelter is on 10 acres we own in Mims that has been fenced in with another 30 acres for many years. The other 30 acres were recently sold to the St. John's River Mngmt. District and we expect them to be opening up that 30 acres eventually so the public has access to a lake on the north side of the prooerty. Which, unfortunately leaves our shelter on our 10 acres vulnerable to trespassers and hunters. We need to get fencing up as soon as possible to protect our shelter cats. As many of our supporters know, we operate on a shoestring budget from year-to-year doing as much feline spay/neuters as our budget allows, caring for the 60 cats in our shelter, and assisting sick/injured cats when funds are available. We have never had the luxury of setting excess funds aside for unexpected expenses such as this badly needed fencing. While we had the most successful annual fundraiser this past November, it was not enough to cover the $3,500 needed to put this fencing up ... which will be done by volunteers to save on labor costs.
