Prayers for Mom Wilhaidas’ Passing 1/4/20

Hello everyone! My mother’s journey started on Oct 28, 2019. I rushed her to ER that day to discoverthat she had a stroke. Multiple labs and tests were taken only to find out she also had Bilateral carotid artery occlusions meaning less blood perfusion to her brain. We spent 3 weeks in the Brain & Spine Clinic in Medical City Plano. The doctors have tried and had referred multiple neurovascular surgeons but they couldnt do anything else except medical management. We went home to do more rehab and took care of Mom despite her Left side total neglect. She fought and tried her hardest to be able to get stronger again. She was the toughest warrior you have ever seen. 5 days being home she started to have a fever and her condition regressed, and went back to the hospital- she had sepsis. They treated her with antibiotics. She was still eating like a champ, talks, jokes and above everything else, her will to fight was just astounding. However , due to the medicines that she kept having, it had caused her a rather bigger stroke 3 days after we were in hospital for her infection treatment. It fully broke our heart seeing Mom couldnt move all her extremeties anymore, couldn’t talk and couldn’t swallow. At this point, we had to take Mom home under hospice care for it is not our judgement to keep pushing aggressive treatments for Mom as well as there was no alternatives anymore. So Right now, I am raising money to be able to help with medical bills as well as to support us a little bit (Me and my sisters). Were not able to work full time job right now, we really wish to go back to Philippines to bury my Mom in her hometown where she wishes to be buried, Whatever and however much we receive, we fully appreciate any of your help. As of January 4, 2020, Mom had left us to be with the Lord and his angels to heaven. Thank you and please keep Mom Haida in your prayers.
