We are in the process of adopting a great young man from Latvia and need to get most of this completed before his 16th birthday in February because . We have used all of our liquid cash to get the process started. However, being an international adoption, we are in need of about another $23-24k to finalize. We have started this fundraiser to help with air travel expense, attorney fees, and the fees in Latvia. We will have to travel there 3 times and spend about 5 weeks total.
We would love to post his picture, but cannot at this time.
We are hopeful and eager to give this young man his dream of adoption. We hope you can help!
We have been able to spend a couple of weeks with him in January while he was here on a "hosting" program and we have this immediate connection with this young man. When we asked him if he wanted to be adopted, he said, "I want to be your son". I can't begin to tell you how much we want this to happen...more for him than for us! He is precious! Thanks for the consideration.
