World Deaf Hockey Championships

Between March 30 and April 6, 2013, I'll be representing the United States in the World Deaf Ice Hockey Championships in Vantaa, Finland!  This year we are competing against four countries, including Finland, Canada, Russia, and Sweden, for the Gold, but we need your help!

To support our efforts, consider making a contribution on this page.  Any contribution, no matter how small or large, will go a long way towards our goal of capturing the Gold!

In 2007, we surprised the world by outclassing, outcompeting, and outworking our opponents en route to a Gold Medal in the Salt Lake Deaflympics.  Two years ago, we were relishing at the chance to defend the Gold at the Slovakia Deaflympics, but since the games were regretfully cancelled due to embezzlement by the Organizers, we never got the opportunity.

This time, it's all systems go!  We are bringing a strong, young team with a good mix of veterans, and we have our sights locked on the Gold!

Funds raised on GoFundMe will help cover costs for airfare, meals, and lodging in Finland, as well as equipment and ice time.  Any funds exceeding the $1,000 target would also be a great asset to the entire team!

On behalf of everyone on the USA National Deaf Team, thank you for your generous support!
