My Name is Aisha Drammeh Gambia is a small country one of the smallest countries in Africa and the world. Most of our people are struggling to thrive during this covid-19 pandemic because it has halted most of our able men and women from working. Bringing our unemployment rate high. Most of them earn daily wages to be able to feed their families but due to the country’s lockdown most people are not working and our government is not providing funds or food to help cater for them. This is making life so difficult and so unbearable for my people. We have been crying for help for so long but all is in vain. In time, it will be the small everyday occurrences that you will remember most: the laughs, the stories, the smiles. Although it might seem like the pain will never go away, it is these very memories that will help push the sorrow away and bring back happier feelings in time. Thank you
