Money For A

Hello friends. One of our friends named A, from GEO ICE detention center, is getting deported back to his country in Africa where he will certainly be put in prison and almost certainly killed. He fled to the US after his government attempted to kill him. I'm trying to raise money to send to his friend to help bribe the police when he arrives. I talked to another immigrant from Africa (who received asylum) about this, and he said "It's so corrupt in Africa that the only way to ensure he stays alive when he arrives is to bribe the police once he lands." His friend requested an amount exceedingly beyond what Josh and I can give, so I thought I would reach out to see if there is anyone else who can help. As I spoke to A Sunday morning, he wept and said "I've never done anything wrong. I don't know why this happening. I don't know why they [the American system] doesn't believe I'm in danger." It broke my heart. I'm trying to raise enough money to keep him alive. Anything you can give will help. Thank you for your love and compassion towards immigrants and my friend A.
