Anna is a veteran’s wife and faithful mother three precious boys. She and the boys are enduring a situation that no one ever thinks will happen to them but that ultimately happens all too often. Anna’s husband, a Marine veteran and the father of her 3 children, has weaved in and out of a cycle of abuse and addiction, which has finally hit a breaking point. After driving drunk with the family in the car, he threw himself from the vehicle before being arrested and taken for another stay at a psychiatric hospital. She has obtained another protective order to hopefully keep them safe from additional abuse, but now they are sitting through the debris. In the wake of that event, Anna has discovered that he had been deceiving her about their financial situation. She and the boys have been evicted and nearly ended up in a shelter, they have a laundry list of overdue bills, need groceries, have nothing for Christmas, and need help securing a car and employment in the Athens area.
