Hair Aid Thailand 2020

Hey friends, family and clients! This year I wanted to do something to give back. Please help me to help others~ In March 2020 I’ll be traveling with the Hair Aid team to Thailand to work with underprivileged women. I’ll be part of a team of volunteer hairdressers from all around the world traveling to Chiang Mai. Here we will teach Hair Aid’s five day hair cutting course to under privileged women that will give them the skill to cut five basic haircuts. These skills can then be used to start a micro business and create an income to support themselves and their family. Each woman we work with will get a basic toolkit along with the free Hair Aide training. This work has a positive and immediate impact. We will be working with women rescued from the sex trade, older orphans, and single mothers. These women currently live in critical poverty, unable to get any access to any form of education unless it’s free. Hair Aid helps provide this free training. Every six months, Hair Aid sends teams of hairdressers to the same locations to provide continued support. I’ll be joining the March 2020 project and I’m so excited to be part of the team!
