PhillyFIT Halfway House for Animals

PhillyFIT Halfway House for Animals (state license number non profit: 84-3339079 and awaiting our 501(c)3 finalization papers) has been helping locals who find lost, abused, abandoned or injured animals find the proper resource to help. Sometimes, that means we take in the animal and begin the process of vet care and saving their lives! (We are currently at $1100 bill for "Altomari", the 6 week old kitten that may lose her leg / vets are trying to save it. Found is Parking lot crying and alone.) We always end up partnering with a rescue to ensure the long term outcome for the animal is not only good for the animal, but the adopter too. We are the Middle Man...the ones that help connect the animal to the rescue and help "buy time" holding the animal and beginning the healing process. This is usually a very expensive part of the animals journey - the initial critical care and help needed before the rescue can secure their foster and take over. Most recent this past month has been over 12 cats, mom and newborns, 2 dogs and a squirrel :). All ended up with amazing rescues and/or reconnected with their owner that was found!!! But again, the food, vet care, flea treatments, antibiotics, emergency vet bills (for split open leg full  of maggots we  most recently saved) your kind support means so much to us and THEM!

Any donations to help are hugely helpful. We are a family of an animal loving mom with three animal loving kids. We do most of this work ourselves, from picking up the injured animal and caring for it, driving to and from vet appointments and paying for it all off of mom's full time day job.

Thank you in advance for your kind consideration and support!
