Our Boy Jax

On Friday January 31st, our fur baby Jax was ran into by a car just a few steps away from our home. The vehicle & person is unknown, & Jax was left in the road. The FedEx man & another motorist went knocking and found out Jax was ours. Lexi rushed out of the house in slippers to find him laying in the road not moving anything but his eyes, except when he saw her, his tail started wagging. She picked him up from the road, he not once squealed, bit, or barked at her... he just stared in her face as she said “momma is here, everything will be okay” Noticeable deep wounds is all we saw, but his breathing was shallow and he was in a severe amount of pain. He laid his head on Andrew while he rubbed him and consoled him the whole way to Pet ER, which was the longest hour drive he’s ever had. He had air around his lungs which was putting immense pressure, causing him to have a hard time breathing. He had severe internal bleeding , a broken front left limb and severely hurt 2 other limbs. Severe Critical Condition is what the vet said. . . $1,500 later after his stay at the ER, Jax has NO air pressing on his lungs and is breathing beautifully, his blood has clotted and internal bleeding has come to a halt, and his wounds are being nursed. He needs surgery on his broken leg, and the quote we got will be a minimum of $2,500 in addition to the $1,500. If there is anyone out there even willing to give $1 to help, it will forever be remembered and we will forever be grateful. I used to think “dog people” were crazy for thinking they were such a part of a family until Jax came into our life, he became one of us ... he is the most gentle , kind , loving and sometimes clinger dog you will ever meet. He loves his brothers Hayden & Kamren , his Mom and Dad and even his feline bothers Leo & Roman finally get a long now. If we cannot get his leg operated, he runs a risk of severe infection. Financially we are not in a place to take care of this alone, and are in an extremely vulnerable and transparent state. To ask money of anyone is difficult, our pride & ego had to take a seat and we are praying for God to take the wheel. Thank you for your love & prayers
