Help us raise £1000 for Addi Rues Heart Fund

Addison Bambridge is 5 weeks old and is asking for your help to raise funds for the people who saved her life. On 27th of November 2019 Addison presented a bad cough which was prominent enough to concern us and later that evening she developed a very intense wheeze which raised out concerns. On 28th November 2019 we rang the doctors for an appointment and we were allocated a 2:40 appointments slot, when we arrived to this appointment; the doctor seeing her raised the alarm very quickly and told me to get to A&E imminently. On arrival to A&E Addison was taken into the resus room where teams of people flooded in to save her life, when I was allowed too see her I was told if I had been any later she would have died She underwent further tests and an X-ray highlighted that the right hand side of her heart was enlarged and she would need to go to the Freeman Hospital for a heart scan, I was advised she had the chance of a cardiac arrest whilst on the way and prepared for the worst. On arrival I was sent immediately into the parent room and Addison was whisked off for more tests and x-ray's, this time the x-ray came back with answers and I was told Addison would be staying in the Freeman hospital. Addison s diagnosis: Total anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR), or connection (TAPVC) is a birth defect of the heart in which the veins bringing blood back from the lungs pulmonary veins) don't connect to the left atrium like usual. I'm other words Addison would be undergoing open heart surgery to correct this defect, this happened at 3pm 29th October 2019. I was given accommodation at Scott House which is allocated on the grounds so I can remain close to addi, and CHUF the charity who funds the PICU helped with a £30 financial aid towards travel or food. The staff, charities and support off these professionals is profound and they have worked endlessly to save my daughter's life, she is on 2 life support machines but she had opened her eyes already. We are 6 days into our ordeal and already so much has been done to save addi and keep us safe and well, although I don't have much to do, I appreciate the staff giving me mum jobs such as her oral care, bed washes, expressing her milk and changing her socks. I want to give back to those who have aided is In our time of need and would love nothing more than to raise enough money to split between 2 charities. I would love to keep documenting Addison's progress and recovery, so I ask you whole heartedly, can you help?
