Update : to stop this GoFundMe freezing, I had to name an over 18rs beneficiary. Due to age requirement and to protect the identity of my friend, my mother has agreed to be named and will pass the money in full to my friend described below : My friend has identified as a man for years. We all love and accept him however he has been dreaming of medically transitioning for so long. This has recently become a reality as a private clinic took him in and offered the hormone treatment he needs. He was shattered when he heard about how much just an initial appointment was let alone how much it was per month. He can not afford it at the moment so I decided to do a sponsored event in which people can sponsor me to raise money towards his transition. I know how much this would mean to him and I wanted it to be a surprise. It would mean the world to get some donations to put towards him. He has been struggling mentally with dysphoria which is a really nasty thing that has been hurting his self esteem. He spoke to me the other day about how much this would mean to him and how much it would help him love himself as much as we love him.
