Save Juneau from euthanasia! Bring from NM TO IN

Donation protected
*FINAL UPDATE: So Aljo saw Dr. Carter this morning! He was prescribed 10 more days of antibiotics and cough suppressants. His hips are in good condition but he does have tapeworms which he was given treatment for today. More good news is that he is negative for heartworm!!!!! That being said, I am planning to deactivate the GoFundMe for receiving additional donations as we will be able to cover the additional vet costs and won't be needing funds for heartworm treatment! Looking ahead, Aljo will be neutered in about 2 weeks since anesthesia weakens the immune system and his is already weak so we need to give him time to recover from this illness first. We are hoping to bring our other dog, Finn, home before this as our arrangements that were made for him to be away from the germs are not suited to last another 2 weeks. Aljo is still currently contagious so we are trying to figure out the best way and time to introduce them to each other and for them to build a healthy bond. For now, we just need to get Aljo healthy again and I am hoping these additional antibiotics help him. Aside from his antibiotics, he is also getting goat's milk twice a day to build up his immune system. Thank you for all of your support! We are so appreciative for all of the shares and donations that helped us save this sweet boy. The road has not ended yet, so if you wish to follow along with his journey I will be posting public posts to FB, just search my name. I will also continue to post here as long as his story and all of these updates are still available for everyone to read after the donations are done being accepted but that I'm unsure of!?!? Emily . . *UPDATED STORY: Juneau was at risk to be euthanized 11/24, but after speaking with the shelter, they said he had around 2 weeks. After calling and getting multiple quotes from transporters, we found out that our friend, Trevor, would be able to bring him home to us as he is a semi driver with a route to El Paso, TX. Our wonderful volunteer Sarah just picked him up from Roswell Animal Services today and discovered he is in rough shape. She is en route to an emergency vet (the only place open in her town, by the time she drives 4hrs to get there from Roswell). We will have unforeseeable vet costs, and since I am unable to be there, all I can do is try to raise more funds to manage his care. He seems to have a respiratory infection. Please continue to share his story. Transportation has cost us $850 thus far and in order to be released from the shelter he needed proof of neuter, which is $75-85. He is going to need unforeseeable treatment before coming back to Indiana, and after GoFundMe takes their portion, we are left with less than what is donated. If you would like to donate to me (Emily) directly to avoid GoFundMe fees, please email me at [email redacted]. Any extra funds after his treatment will be donated to IndyHumane, a non-profit no-kill shelter where we rescued our first husky baby, Finn. I appreciate all of your support ❤ . . *PREVIOUS: Please help!!! Juneau was set for euthanasia on 11/24, but the shelter says he has 2 weeks left. Emily will give him a loving home but needs your help to get him 19 hours away from New Mexico to Indiana! A transport company will be doing the transport, and it will be $1400 round trip (for the transport team to drop him off and drive back to their headquarters). Due to living out of state, Emily will have to pay boarding fees until transport is able to pick up the dog from the boarding center. Any excess funds will be donated to Indy Humane, a no kill shelter in Indiana where Emily rescued her first husky.
