Team Bean: Leila Jo’s Journey To Health

As some of you know, our daughter, Leila Jo, was hospitalized for 10 days due to pneumonia and a collapsed airway. After multiple X-rays, a CT scan, blood tests, a bronchoscopy, and SO MANY NEEDLES, we were on our way home with oral antibiotics! HAPPY DAY! ...or so we thought. Days went by and not much changed. We continued respiratory therapy at home to no avail. With the lack of improvement and worsening symptoms, we decided to bring her back last night to check her out, but we won’t be going home for a while. Her X-rays show that her pneumonia has come back with a vengeance, and is stronger and more prominent than ever. That being said, we will be staying in Pensacola for a couple weeks, with at least one of us missing work each day. We have decided to suck up our pride and ask for some help. Between the hospital bills, missing work, driving back and forth from Pensacola to Fort Walton, and still having our regular bills to pay, we just aren’t going to make it happen. We have amazing friends and family, and we love you all so much. We just want to thank you for all of your continued support in our most difficult time.
