Rowen Mueller

Rowen is our sweet 6 week old that is currently in the PICU at womens and childrens in columbia. 2 weeks ago he started to act sick with what I though was just allergies or a cold. He seemed to get better till the 16th of november I noticed he he started to sound bad and be fussy. Monday came and he was struggling to breath and I took him to Capitol region er where he had a few test done including RSV and the flu both coming back negative. The doctor said that rowen was struggling alot and he was not comfortable sending him home and believed he needed to seek better treatment. We were then sent by ambulance to womens and childrens. We have been here for 6 day now and Rowen has a virus of some sort. He is needing a bi-pap during this time to support his breathing. We are hoping he will get better soon so we can move down to high flow room air. Hunter is going to be going back to school monday. He is currently studying electrical distribution systems at State Technical college of Missouri. He was unable to work this week due to little man being in the hospital. I have been on unpaid maternity leave since October 15th. With losing a whole income and hunter being unable to work because of school this hospital trip is making it difficult to make ends meet. As I eat free hunter is having to buy meals 3 meals a day and hospital food is not cheap.
