Friends and family, Me and my wife Robie have decided to do something we’ve talked about doing for a couple years now. With the help of great friends and y’all we can make this a reality. We all know the amount of homeless Americans is on the rise. And a lot of these people go without a lot of stuff we may take for granted. Whether it be a warm bed, running water or a hot meal. With y’alls help we may be able to make one of those things go away this Thanksgiving. We’re asking for ANY donations to help feed the homeless this year on Thanksgiving. Whether it be $1 or $5 every donation WILL go to help feed someone. Our intent initially was to just cook a little extra food this Thanksgiving and make plates to pass out through Texarkana to the homeless and less fortunate. But after a recent Facebook post we’ve received several messages from the public asking to donate to the cause. Which is very exciting knowing there’s folks out there that are as passionate about this like we are. So we decided to setup this page to help kickstart a new tradition. Outlaw Blessings. Our goal is simple, everyone deserves a hot meal this Thanksgiving. EVERYONE. For those of you that don’t know me.. my name is Jimmy Thornton Jr. I’m a Veteran and currently employed with Union Pacific Railroad. I proudly served the greatest country in the world with a deployment to Afghanistan in 2010. It’s a shame the amount of homeless people we have in America and over half of them are Veterans. It’s a shame. And disgraceful. I don’t believe it should be this way. With the help of my beautiful wife, Robie, we want to do our part and start a new holiday tradition. This will be our first time doing this. So we’re “winging” it this year. But EVERY donation will go to something for the cause. -To-go plates -Silverware -Bottles of water -Turkey -Ham -Homemade Dressing -Mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy -Multiple desserts And more.. We appreciate all donations. Let’s help put a little Thanksgiving spirit back into our community and show the homeless that WE CARE. Thank you.
