Carolyn Inookee : Cancer Fighter

Carolyn Inookee is a loving mother,wife and one of the hardest working nurses in Iqaluit. Carolyn was diagnosed with breast cancer, eager to kick cancer in the butt, Carolyn completed her chemo and surgery. Once onto radiation, the final step to be cancer free Carolyn got sick and was admitted to the Ottawa General Hospital. Carolyn's family and friends have been by her side for the past month supporting and caring for her in this rough time. Unfortunately there is no more treatment available for Carolyn due to the cancer spreading to her brain and spine. Her wish is to be back home in Iqaluit, at the QGH with nurses that she knows in the hospital that she loves. Therefore Carolyn will be medivac today or tomorrow where she can rest comfortably and peacefully. All money raised will go to the Inookee family for Carolyn's service and to help out the Inookee family who have been out of work watching over Carolyn.
