Darren Sonley is a devoted father of 6 children in Edmonton Ab . A few months ago his increasingly painful jaw and visits to Drs, dentist and finally the Uof A revealed that Darren actually had throat cancer. It has been a difficult journey to say the least and financially has become an overwhelming burden. The most recent news is that the surgery will be approx 20 hours long and he will be out of work for as long as 10 months while undergoing therapy , and other aggressive treatment like radiation and chemotherapy. You can only imagine the stress that accompanies this especially when dealing with a mortgage and the day to day costs associated to his care and family .
