Help me get Yoga Teacher Trained!!!

Why?  The inner journey of healing is one I have been committed to for 22 years now, over half my life.  My journey began with my own healing and grew into my ability to help others heal.  My passion is working with women, children, veterans, and families, and I do this through my own for-benefit business, Community Workz, as well as through non profits that I partner with.  All of the work I do is done for pay what you can prices and much is pro bono. I don't turn anyone away who is seeking help. 

I recently have had a program accepted into the Denver County Womens prison which will provide yoga, meditation and BodyTalk to a group of women hoping to heal and change their lives upon release. Another program I co-created, Healing With Honor, helping our veterans heal, has received special invitation to apply for a Wounded Warrior Grant this year.  Whether we get it or not, I will be offering classes for veterans at my office free of charge because I believe our veterans have more than earned this service.

I believe in and have witnessed the power of natural healing through our bodies' ability to heal itself...through anything.  The BodyMind is powerful, and when it comes to healing PTSD and trauma, Yoga holds the keys to many locked doors. I am excited and compelled to take my classes into the communities I work with and along with the natural medicine I practice and meditation, help these communities thrive again, or in some cases, for the first time.  

This is the natural next step for me and I thank you for your support.

The breakdown: YTT is $2995.00.  If I am funded beyond this initial amount the money will first be used to purchase the required books and materials for the training and then will be applied to further yoga training specific to trauma, working with veterans, children, women healing from complex PTSD.
