1st Westmead Everest Base Camp Trek

This is an ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME, Climbing to the peak of Mt Everest Base Camp, during November 2017.
We are a team of 10 unique individual venturers from 1st Westmead Scout Group, with a wide range of multi cultural backgrounds and varying levels of skills, and ages ranging from 14 to 18.
As members of the 1st Westmead Venturer Scout Unit, we are motivated to expand our program through every opportunity available to challenge ourselves physically and mentally. So far we have trained as a team to better prepare ourselves since June 2016.
Of course, fundraising is also a significant priority, especially with many of our Unit members completing our Higher School Certificate this year. Whilst we have been organising regular fundraising activities to support our goal, the cost of this activity is substantial, and having recently paid the deposit for our trek, we are now eager to secure additional funds to support our remaining travel and expedition costs for this project.
This challenge is not possible without your generosity.
