1st Responder Charity Gets & Gives FREE Resources

Tax deductible
We knew this day would come again. We just didn’t know it would come on 9/11, to the House of Good Deeds - a charity dedicated to promoting and practicing Altruism - cofounded by a 9/11 first responder.

HoGD has to give up our current donated storage space at the end of September: over two thousand square feet worth of new and like-new clothing, shoes, housewares, and healthcare items donated by New Yorkers for New Yorkers, all need a new home ASAP.

Ideally we would have replacement space donated. It is part of our vision to value money less, and Altruism more. There are millions of square feet of unused space in NYC following the pandemic; we are sure many New York property owners would love a tax write off.

But we have tried for months. We've called storage places and asked our friends to ask their friends. We need something reliable, and don't have the luxury of continuing to wait.

We're raising money for long-term storage and transportation costs while we continue to seek long-term donated space. 100% of your donations are tax-deductible and will go directly towards the actual costs of collecting, storing, and distributing donations to communities and individuals in need.

Please! Donate, share, and HELP US NOW so we can keep helping others.
