1st Annual Philadelphia Chalk Festival!

The Philadelphia Chalk Festival 2020 will be the
first annual street painting festival created to engage local artists, businesses, and organizations through a safe, socially distanced, one-day event. Works will be created and displayed in various outdoor
locations throughout the Fishtown/Kensington
neighborhoods on November 14th, 2020.


Viewers can locate the temporary murals on the festival map and enjoy a self-guided walking tour of
the pieces, learn about the festival artists, and stop in to support partnering local businesses.

The funds will be used to pay for:

- Artist fees for chalk murals at $300 each   
- Supplies for each artist
- Marketing material (Posters, Website, Ads)
- Event staff fees (Graphics, videography,
photography)

This event has been entirely a grassroots campaign to bring something fun and engaging for our community to enjoy as well as support our local artists and businesses. 

We must to reach our funding goal by
October 23rd, 2020 in order to confirm maximum number or participants. The more money that is
raised, the more artists and murals funded!
