Possible Surgery For Nike

Last night, October 11, at approximately 6:20 PM, Nike slipped out of the fence of the front yard and ran across the street. She’s a pretty small dog, so it was obvious the SUV didn’t see her. She was taken to the animal emergency hospital in La Mesa at about 6:40 PM. Initial diagnostics made a dent in our funds, but we could only do the bare minimum and still don’t have enough to do a full check up on anything internal. She lost a tooth and her elbow is dislocated. They may be able to just pop it in, but if it’s worse than what the x-rays show, she may need surgery. There’s an estimation, but at the gamble that they may or may not be able to fix it. I’d rather try, and I’m very reluctant to ask for help....
