Kidney Transplant for Chief

Donation protected
Chief needs a kidney and needs our help. "Through the grace of the creator", as Chief would say, he made a post on his personal Facebook page pleading with his friends and family for help. When he awoke this morning he had multiple people reaching out offering assistance and even some wanting to be possible donors. Chief is fortunate to have AB+ blood type that he can receive any acceptable candidate as a donor. Chief and his new donor will be in the same predicament of needing the funds to help them through this expensive process. This is so touching to see how many people are brave enough to stand up and offer to help him when we had such a loss last night. Chief is an amazing man, a model of security and safety in our community. His life has not been easy. He suffers from flesh eating disease and his left leg currently fluctuates between 50- 100lbs a day. Chief has had surgery in the past that removed almost 200lbs of flesh from his body. Chief was also hit by a car in the Station Mall parking lot which resulted in him being in therapy for 4 months for his leg and arm. He also lives with diabetes. Chief has faced many challenges, where he could have given up and thrown in the towel, but he had hope, he persevered and pushed through. Now we have to follow in his foot steps and persevere through this difficult situation so that he can get the medical attention and financial support needed to allow him to continue living his amazing life. During difficult times, Chief has always been selfless, putting the needs of others before his own and never hesitated to help people when he could. Chief is a member of the Easy Does it Riders motorcycle club, which is an all sober group who like to ride together, they have raised money for many charity's over the years. Chief has been a active member in our community for many years and is very passionate about educating people on organ donation, he is hoping to re-donate any funds left over to friends he has made while doing dialysis. He has helped so many people we now need to band together and help him when he needs us.
