China Trip for Orphans!

Hello! My name is Chelsea, and I have always had a passion for helping orphans. I have been praying about going on a Show Hope trip to China to help orphans with special needs for a couple years now. When I received an email of the upcoming short-term trips for 2013 I felt God nudging me to apply!
I feel as if God has an important place for me on this trip. I have worked in a Pediatric outpatient clinic as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and have experience working with children with special needs. I feel extremely led to help orphans in every way possible, and I am blessed to be able to use my gifts and skills to do so!
My husband and I plan to adopt in the future; however, we are waiting on God's perfect timing. As of now, we are blessed to have an amazing 2 year old son and sponsor child in the Philippines. We anxiously look forward to what God has in store for our family's future!
I strongly desire to take the next step in God's plan for me, and I feel that this trip with Show Hope is where I am being led. I have the full support of my family; however, the financial end can be overwhelming. All donations will go straight toward my travel, lodging, and meal expenses. I trust that God will make a way, even when it doesn't look possible financially. Thank you, and God bless you all!
