Supporting Our Friend Johnny Devito
Johnny and Eileen Devito have been great friends to us all. Their bar, Havana Cigar Bar, has been the place of so many good times for many of us. Johnny is always there to welcome us like we are coming in to his house, and he always has the latest political gossip or a story that he heard "from a very reliable source." This holiday season has not been a happy one for our friends the Devito's.
Johnny was diagnosed
recently with cancer, and is undergoing very aggressive treatments even as we
speak. This has caused some unexpected medical expenses that have put a
tremendous financial burden on our friends.
In the spirit of this
holiday season, a few of us got together and decided to see if we could help. If
you donate to this webpage, the proceeds will go to pay for Johnny's medical expenses. We also invite you to attend the "pass the hat"
fundraiser at Havana Cigar Bar Thursday, January 3rd. Please come join us for a
bit of fun. Johnny is such a special man, and we must do
anything we can do to get him back in his "home", spinning stories and sharing
good times.
