Ocean Reef Resort Employee Fund Hurricane Relief

Many of Ocean Reef Resort employees have had their homes completely flooded, water surges of over 15 ft it lost roofs, cars underwater , a place to stay and everything they own. The island needs help as many friends and family have lost everything they own. Anything you can give to help them recover is greatly appreciated. Most don’t have anything to go back to and do not have enough money to even start the repairs. If you can please help them!
What we, Nina von Albedyhll- Kor Dormans as Management of Ocean Reef Resort plan on doing with the moneys collected it help those that had huge floods start with buying them Sheetrock to redo their homes and then we want to put together a container and help them purchases furniture and beds, appliances, kitchen gadgets, electronics, linens and small stuff to get them back in their homes. We do not believe we can start this purchasing under the ocean reef bond until Mid October for the inside houses. For those that have lost their vehicles we will distribute funds to them to try to buy a car in their price range. The resort will take over the container and clearing costs which is around $8000 and ordering their items.
I, Nina Dormans, will be collecting the funds into my personal US dollar account to be able to organize the purchase of materials and mainly furniture from Wayfair and appliances with my debit card connected to that account to be able to organize a container as soon as possible to make it on island. The employees who have lost their homes due to flooding have already picked out furniture and appliances they would like to replace what they have lost. Currently that portion has already come up to approx $40,000. The remainder for those loosing cars will be given to the employees in cash once we can determine the full amount collected to help them. We will keep all abreast to how the funds were distributed and update with pictures of the order and container when it arrives!
