Rescue Thoroughbred Gelding

I have been asked to take this 7 year old Thoroughbred gelding as soon as possible. He is super skinny, as you can see. The current owners have done the best they can for him and I will not bad mouth them. They have tried many different things but have yet to make any progress. So thru persistence, her neighbor (my friend) has finally convinced her to give him up. But meanwhile he has gone even further down hill. He is in a desperate way. I am going to need help for him. Can you spare some money to help? I set the total at $1000 to just start getting him healthy.
